Fun with Photoshop

Here is a card that we sent to our relatives in England. The cover said, "Sorry for the belated Easter card. We've been very busy and...."

The inside said, "It took alot of paint to decorate Heather's belly!"

We need to update Heather's belly pictures. I believe she is a "little" bigger now.

Again, we're still here

We’ve been really busy and have neglected the blog recently. Heather had her baby shower awhile ago. She was completely surprised. We went to lunch and I told her that I needed to stop over my parent’s house to fix something. There were cars everywhere and Heather finally said to me as we were walking to my parent’s front door, “Is this a party for me?” So needless to say she was surprised. I wanted to say thank-you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts we received. We are going to have one spoiled baby. Our baby can be clothed in apparel with lions on it for about two weeks without repeating an outfit. Sorry, I didn't stay for the shower so the pics are lifted from my sister's blog.

Sofia roaming the hardwood floors of my mom's house, very cute.

This past weekend was loaded with events. We went to April and Peter’s rehearsal dinner Friday. Sofia was also christened after the rehearsal. Saturday was April and Peter’s wedding which was fantastic. The entire bridal party looked very pretty. April looked wonderful as a bride. Heather and the other brides’ maid Liz looked great also. It was kind of funny to see two pregnant bride’s maid in the same wedding. Heather was wiped out after these two events.

Two beautiful smiling girls.

All the brides maids.

Smoochy, smoochy.

Extremely beautiful mom-to-be.

Even Sandi and Bogey were tired after this weekend.

I had a nice golfing weekend. Saturday I was in the Member-Member match play finals. My partner, Marc Chung, and I were down 5 holes after 9. We were getting pencil-whipped a little bit. The two golfers we were playing were getting strokes on quite a few holes on the front, yet they both shot 1 over on the front 9. We were able to make it somewhat respectable eventually losing 2 and 1. We were a little upset that neither of us played well. Oh well there is always next year. I also played in the Memorial Day Stapleford Tournament Sunday. I played much better Sunday but the scores that were handed in were borderline ridiculous. We played well and got 75 points, the winner came in with 95. Again, there is always next year.

I had a fun Memorial Day. I took a brief 8 hours to paint my entire deck. I hadn’t painted the deck completely in quite awhile (if ever). I now hate spindles. They are such a pain to paint. Heather got in some much needed recovery napping Monday.

This Wednesday we had our third birthing class. It was the hospital visit. We got to see everything, triage, operating room, and the mother’s room. We got to see three newly born babies (within the last 2 hours). It was a nice little visit where we got most of the hospital paperwork out of the way.
