Kenny's favorite game is the Chunky Monkey game. If you take his hands and move them back and forth while saying Chunky Monkey he laughs and laughs. It's best when he first wakes up. Here is some video of a more sedate game of Chunky Monkey (he was a little sleepy).

Video Time!
We found an easier way to post video on the blog so here are some videos we've been taking of our little one. Enjoy.
Kenny's new favorite hobby, beating the heck out of Mr. Elephant. I really need to stop watching MMA with Kenny. He's picking up bad habits and a wonderful left hook.
I have something for you too Mr. Parrot.
This video is Kenny discovering he has a hand. He doesn't realize he has a left hand yet or even feet. But he definitely knows he has a right hand. The noise in the video is not what you think, it's Sandi snoring.
I would like to also wish my cousin Andrew a happy belated Birthday.

Updates
This week has gone by so fast. Firstly, I started my night job at Walmart as a cashier. I still have some adjusting to my night hours, and how to get enough sleep to function. Last night we left the jungle sounds going on Kenny's swing, and he slept through the night. The last week or so he has been getting up at 3 am for a feeding, and going back to sleep. Tomorrow, Geoff will have the pleasure of all day Kenny watching. I will be working the morning at the cleaners, and night at Walmart.
Secondly, Kenny is becoming aware of his hands. The other night on our ride to the grocery store, we saw him staring at his hands. He was just opening and closing them. It was so cute, the concentrated look on his face. He is also starting to roll over. Not all the way yet, but brings his knees to his chest and rolls onto his side. I tried to snap a picture, its a bit blurry.

The Big E
Yesterday we took our annual trip to The Big E. April and I have been going together for many years, although now with 3 kids between us, it is getting more challenging. April had the day off, so we were able to go during the week. The crowd was small, which was nice, because Kayla would not walk near us all day. We saw all the usual favorites...
baby chicken being hatched,
the little piggies,
and the huge Clydesdale horses.
Kenny's picture with the horses.
Kayla went on her first Ferris Wheel ride with Grandma this summer, so that is all we heard about at the fair. Since April was nervous going up there, I went up with Kayla. I don't think she could see much except the trees and the sky, but she had a good time up there. It went a little faster than I was expecting, and the operator let us stay on for a long time, because there was no one waiting in line. The sky looks dark in the photo, but we had nice cool weather. Just perfect for all the walking around we did.
You could see Springfield in the distance.
Even Sofia had a great time, and was very well behaved.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Yesterday was Geoff's birthday. Geoff turned 29(+2) years old. He is now as old as me for another 5 months. We went and had lunch at Five Guys Burgers and Fries(Geoff's favorite), along with Nana and Granddad. After Geoff Kenny and I went to a local resevoir and walked the loop. Kenny was awake the whole walk and had a good time, until the last 1/4 mile, when he got unconsolablly hungry. We went back to Nana's house and Kenny slept for the whole visit. In fact, I had to wake him up for his bath and feeding time when we got home. Just for him to go back to sleep for the rest of the night.

Sleeping Baby
Last night was a baby milestone. Kenny officially slept through the night. He has been crabby a little earlier than normal lately. I have been nervous to start bath time and last feeding so early, thinking he won't sleep through the night. Last night he had his bath at 7:30 and started his night bottle promptly after. Kenny fell asleep at 8:15, and didn't wake up this morning till 7:15. I couldn't believe it. I would be suspicious that Geoff added some booze to the formula, but we don't have any in the house at the moment.(Maybe he has a secret stash somewhere.):D
While sleeping he moved all over the crib. As you can see in this picture. I placed him so his head was on the sheet saver at the bottom of the picture. He almost turned 180 degrees. This morning I quickly took out all the stuffed animals I thought were safe down by the foot of the crib.
We tried to get a naked baby butt picture before bath-time last night, but after my long nightly walk, I looked horrible. So this morning I took a nice one. Perfect to embarrass him with, when the girlfriends start showing up.:(
Those of you readers easily offended by plump naked baby butts,
Please turn away now!

Kenny also received a package from Uncle David and Auntie Jill. There were a couple cute Pooh onesies and Mickey Mouse hat. The shirts fit perfectly, but the hat will take some growing. I think it will be just right for next summer. If Kenny has my skin type, he will have to wear hats every where he goes. Let hope he takes after his Daddy in that department. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift. I tried taking some pictures, but he was getting aggravated in the hat. I had to roll the brim up in the front, otherwise it covered his face. It was also hard to keep Bogey out of the way.

Labor Day Weekend
We had a nice Labor Day Weekend. We were suppose to go to Nanna's houses for a picnic on Saturday, but it got posponed till next Saturday. Geoff, Kenny and I went to my moms house for a picnic on Sunday afternoon. Everyone enjoyed playing Bean-bag Toss,(I don't know the real name). It is like horseshoes, but safer for kids to be around. We don't have a lot of family pictures since Kenny came. In fact the only two we had were at the hospital hours after delivery. We got a nice shot at my moms.
Monday afternoon we went to my dad's house. My aunt Carol and uncle Bob came by, and my cousin Lou Ann. My other cousin Coreen was there along with her husband Dave, and two kids Ashley, and Garrett. They had fun playing with Kayla and Sofia. The big hit with the kids was a cake I made for Geoff for his up coming birthday. We didn't have any dogs at the party, but that did't stop Sofia from finding every dropped piece of food and trying to eat it,yuck! Here are some cake faces.
Kalya
Ashley the cleanest of them all
And not to be out done, Garrett.
Sofia wore any shoes she could find on the hands and crawled around on them.
And of course, Kenny had a good time this weekend also.
