Everything and everyone must be examined. That is Kenny's motto lately. Yesterday Kenny was playing with Bogey's favorite ball. Both of them were playing tug with it. Kenny was cracking up, it was so cute. It all stopped when I got the camera out, and tried to film it. Suddenly it was much more interesting than the ball. Here is a little clip of our happy little boy.

Random Pictures
We can't wait for winter to be over. Geoff and I took a walk last night when I got home from work. It was chilly, but we had Kenny bundled up in 2 blankets, 2 coats, and Geoff's winter hat. Kenny has outgrown all of his hats, except for his hunting hat. The hunting hat is good for the quick walk from car to store, but he can rip it off his head in a second. As a joke Geoff put his hat on Kenny. It was big, but very cute. He managed to keep it on for the whole walk around the block.

Now that his hair is getting longer, he is getting bed head when he wakes up. It is a little hard to see so I took a close up.

With Kenny on the move now, we have to step up our baby proofing of the house. The other night Geoff was making a bottle, when he came back in Kenny had moved into the bathroom. Geoff said he was so excited, he had discovered a room he hadn't been in before.

This is Kenny's favorite spot to play, under his jumper, next to the stairs. Geoff and I put Plexiglas up, so he can't roll off to the landing, along with our awesome baby gate for the stairs.

Two Milestones, One Week
Last Wednesday, while I was getting ready for work, I turned to see what was keeping Kenny so quiet. He was just sitting there on our wood floor. He had a rattle ring in his hand, examining it very closely. I was so shocked. I quickly ran behind thinking that at any second he would fall back, and bump his head. He just sat there, just perfectly. One minute later Geoff was opening the door, coming home from work. Before he could walk in, I exclaimed, "Look what your son just did by himself!" Since then he has been sitting constantly. I can now put him down on his butt, and he chooses if he wants to lay down. It was only a couple months ago that he hated being on his stomach on the floor.
As for the second milestone. On Saturday, again I was getting ready to leave for work. Kenny was whining for his short night nap. Geoff was making his bottle. Kenny was screaming on is hand and knees, and in his rage, was crawling towards us. Geoff said imagine if we were recording it. It would look like we were torchering him to crawl. I just happened to be recording on Sunday. I was trying to tape a happy sitting baby, when the soda bottle scoots away. I know its not much, but I consider it a crawl caught on tape.

Lots of things since last posting
We haven't posted in quite a while so here we go. On Super Bowl Sunday we went to Heather's Dad's house to celebrate Heather and April's Birthdays. Look at the wonderful decorating Heather and April did on their cake.
It looks like they were drunk when they decorated this cake.
Looks like Heather was drunk she's almost missing the entire cake.
This "flower" looks like something else (I don't think I need to elaborate anymore). This should go on Amy's messed-up cake blog.
Cake Paparazzi
Sofia really likes ice cream cake.
She like other peoples cake even more
Kenny is a fan of cake also
We also got a new cover for our grill. Our old one has see better days as you can see.
It's really disintegrated over the last month or so.
Feeding Kenny usually isn't that bad. But when you are wearing something you don't want him to get food on Kenny acts like this:
I'm sure Tom enjoyed this video. I was wearing a brand new shirt this past Sunday and thirty seconds in I had sweet potato and cereal on me.
This past Saturday we had an ultimate celebration of Dad and Heather's Birthdays and my parents anniversary which were all pretty recent. Here is a picture of the old people celebrating their birthdays:
Dad says he is now 43 and I tell people that Heather is 47. Strange how that works.
Kenny kind of enjoying cake again.
Kenny with a Kid Toast cookie.
Richie pretending to be the Incredible Hulk.
Kenny's favorite toy from this Christmas is his sit and play music station. He likes sitting and looking in the mirror.
I went to New York yesterday for a conference. It was a little strange because the conference was in the new World Trade Center Building 7, right across from the fallen towers. We were on the 40th Floor which provided for some nice views of the city. Carl would be proud of me, I didn't get lost during my entire visit.
