What's New

We'll we went to Boston with Auntie Denise and Pauline. It wasn't the greatest day but we had fun. I believe the following is what Andrew refers to as a dodgy crowd. These hooligans insisted on heading to Cheers (Bull and Finch Pub) for a pint.

Auntie Pauline was charging her camera so we gave her our extra camera to snap a few pics. Here is the back of a ladies head who Auntie Pauline thought had very nice hair.

We went on a Duck Tour (van that becomes a boat for those you you who don't know) to tour the city. In order to make everyone feel at home we had a nice deary, gray British day. It was appropriate since so much of Boston's history is from/related to the British.

This is a goose that comes back to the exact same flower pot to nest each year.

The day before we went was the Boston Marathon. There was a women who needed help walking down the steps at the train station. She was saying, "Oooo, owwww" with each step. That's when we figured out she probably ran the marathon. Here is someone's tribute to the marathon runners - sneaker planters.

We also went to the beach this weekend. It was almost a year ago exactly the last time Heather and I went to the beach. Can you tell which picture is which?

Sunday we all relaxed before our photo session. We'll post some pics when we get them back.

This is what we call "Pet Cemetery", Heather joined in Sunday morning.

"Don't worry it tastes like pancakes. Mmmmm, I like pancakes."

British Invasion

The Brits have arrived; Nana, Auntie Pauline, and Auntie Denise. It's been great to see everyone. Here is a picture of all the Shaw women with Kenny

We also went to Kayla's Birthday Party Saturday. Kenny enjoyed the cake the most.

So did Kayla-

Happy boy with momma-

Happy girl with some of her birthday loot-

My nemesis, Rocky the Pug. If you remember he marked me as his property last year at Kayla's Birthday party. No such luck this year.

Today Vicky and Rich hosted everyone for a really nice turkey lunch. I love turkey and so does Kenny.

Richie enjoying ice cream sans shirt.

After a wardrobe change Richie sang us, "If You're Happy and You Know It"-

Kenny also had another first today, he got up onto his feet on his own for the first time (leaning against his car seat). He proceeded to do this on a few different occasions tonight.

Air Drying

Kenny has gotten so squirmy on the changing table that today after his bath, I put him on the floor to dry and dress him. He thought that it would be better to play and air dry, than be toweled off.
I hope he doesn't hate me too much for all the naked baby pictures.

Happy Easter!

Yesterday we went to my dads house for Easter lunch. We had ham and Geoff's favorite, cheesy potatoes. He had me do a ransom call on the call on the way. If there was a change of menu, and the potatoes were not being served, he was turning around. Sadly there was not picture taken of the dish of potatoes this year. It was nice to see April, Peter and the kids. It was so cold out we were helping the kids with the candy hunt, so it to go faster. Sofia was crying and had to be held the whole time, because she was afraid of the wind.

Kayla and her candy bag.

The best photo we got of all the kids together.

Hanging out with the dogs too much!

Now we have 3 food beggars in the house. Kenny is now learning how to beg for food, just like the dogs. From this video you would probably think we never feed him. We have to have the box of raisins near us if we snack on the couch, or he will start flipping out. Kenny absolutely loves grown-up food much more than jarred baby food. I just hope he continues to like fruits and veggies like he does now.

These are the 2 types of pictures I get now. Either Kenny reaching for the camera...

...or blurry.

Kenny's face when he wakes up from his nap. All his fingerprints on his forehead.

Get in the Hole!

It's happened again. My Dad has gotten another hole-in-one. We were playing our second round of golf this year today. It was suppose to be sunny and 60 degrees. when we got to the course it was cloudy, very windy, and 42. We decided to play anyway. I played ok on the front and Dad's glory came on the back 9. On the 14th hole, a down hill 142-yard par-3, Dad hit a pitching wedge just right of the hole. It spun to the left and we lost sight of it on the browned out early season greens. I said, "I think it went in." Dad thought he hit it long. When we got to the hole, there was a Callaway ball in the cup. I'm really trailing Dad in this category. He now has two holes-in-one to my zero. Here is a picture of the historic event.

New Pictures

Not much to write about. Everybody is doing great, and Kenny is growing like a weed. The last couple days he has been cutting tooth number 5, and it hasn't given him a hard time at all. Of course there has been more chewing , and more drool if possible. But all in all it hasn't affected him too much.

Got Drool?

Can you see my teeth?
