Largo/Tampa Day 4 - Recap

Day 4 was our last full day in Largo/Tampa. Heather's Dad and I went golfing at the Claw (University of South Florida's Golf Course). We saw some wild life.

Look a baby gator. It was about a two-feet long.

Then on about the 14th tee box we heard a huge crash. It sounded like someone fell out of a tree. It wasn't someone but a 8-9 foot gator crashing into the pond off the backside of the tee box. It was by far the largest alligator I've ever seen outside a zoo. We didn't look for balls that were lost in the tree line that bordered the water.

Someone Who Likes Cheeseburgers More Than Me?

I think I found someone who likes cheeseburgers more than me. Check out the women who appears at about 58-seconds. I haven't found a cheeseburger that will make me cry (yet).

Largo/Tampa Day 3 - Recap

On our third full day in Tampa we went to the beach again. The first night we were there we took Kenny to the beach and Heather and I had to continually prevent him from running head first into the water. It appears that Kenny loves the water.

Getting ready to jump

Weee, waves!

Hey Mom, let's go play with that Stingray. You're no fun.

We did see quite a few Stingrays. At one point we saw nine in one area. Heather decided that was a good time to move Kenny. The locals said they were harmless but we didn't want to find out. They didn't photograph that well with the reflection off the water.

Ocean fun with Kenny

Kenny was exhausted that afternoon and ended up sleeping like this with his favorite pillow that is shaped like a puppy.

Once Kenny finally woke-up we went down to a neat little boardwalk/pier place called Treasure Island that was not too far away. Heather got fresh made saltwater taffy so she was happy.
Run Forrester, run.

Arrrrrr.

Do my socks match?

I wonder if Mulder has a place nearby?

Is that Captain Jack Sparrow again?

Kid City - Great Rainy Day Activity

I had this week off from work and it has rained for each day of the week so far. Kenny and I decided to go to the kid's museum, Kid's City yesterday. Kenny's favorite activity was playing with the foam golfballs and the pigs. The pigs have a vacuum that takes the balls to the top of a shoots and ladders type slide. Kenny played here for more than 30-minutes.

Kenny also enjoyed playing with the cars. He thinks cars can climb walls at the moment.

The dinosaur room was also a big hit.

Kenny also liked showing off on the slide for a little girl.

Largo/Tampa Day 2 - Recap

The second full day in Tampa Heather's Dad and I went to a Yankees vs. Phillies game. The Phillies' park in Clearwater is very nice. It was a beautiful day and luckily we were in the shade because it would have been really hot in the sun. It was a good day because the Yankees won.

A picture of Heather's favorite Yankee (who shares a birthday with Kenny)-

Future MVP-

Mark Texiera who hit a homerun during the game-

I tried getting a picture of a couple of players wives. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of there faces and plenty of jewelry.

On the way home from the game we picked up some coleslaw and this was a banner that was in the store. Are chicken fingers on top of a bacon cheeseburger overkill?

Kenny waking up from his nap acting crazy.
