We eventually got sat about 40-minutes after we arrived. So Kenny was approaching his limit. The burgers do not come with fries but you can order them as sides or appetizers. It was nice to see that they had sweet potato fries but we didn't try them. The fries were ok, you could tell that they were just frozen fries not fresh cut like Five-Guys or Fuddruckers. Kenny proceeded to lose it as soon as the burgers arrived. They told us that all their burgers were cooked to 150* (med/well) unless otherwise requested. The burgers were not very good at all. Mine was cooked quite a bit more than Heather's since I had a 2/3 lb burger. It was charred. I was not very impressed. The bun was bland and the extras were just ok. I had tomato, honey cured bacon, lettuce, and American cheese. The tomato was really hard, like it wasn't ripe enough. The bacon was ok but it could have been cooked more. The lettuce and cheese were ok. The worst part of the whole thing was the price. Our burgers, fries, and soda cost about $37 with tip. We could have eaten at Five-Guys twice for what we spent at The Counter Burger (not that we need to do that). So my review is that the Counter Burger is not worth going to. Save yourself some money and go to Five-Guys-Burgers and Fries. The burgers there are much, much better than the Counter Burger.
