Last Wednesday, while I was getting ready for work, I turned to see what was keeping Kenny so quiet. He was just sitting there on our wood floor. He had a rattle ring in his hand, examining it very closely. I was so shocked. I quickly ran behind thinking that at any second he would fall back, and bump his head. He just sat there, just perfectly. One minute later Geoff was opening the door, coming home from work. Before he could walk in, I exclaimed, "Look what your son just did by himself!" Since then he has been sitting constantly. I can now put him down on his butt, and he chooses if he wants to lay down. It was only a couple months ago that he hated being on his stomach on the floor.
As for the second milestone. On Saturday, again I was getting ready to leave for work. Kenny was whining for his short night nap. Geoff was making his bottle. Kenny was screaming on is hand and knees, and in his rage, was crawling towards us. Geoff said imagine if we were recording it. It would look like we were torchering him to crawl. I just happened to be recording on Sunday. I was trying to tape a happy sitting baby, when the soda bottle scoots away. I know its not much, but I consider it a crawl caught on tape.

That is great. Tell Bogey and Sandy to watch out for the crawler.
