Has It Been 5-Years Already?

Heather and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary. I can't believe it's been 5-years already (we've actually been together for 14-years and it feels like it (hee-hee)). We celebrated a day early by going to Ikea for dinner and shopping with our little monster (woo-hoo). My mom is watching Kenny for us this coming weekend so we can go out for a meal and movie. Earlier in the week we got ourselves an anniversary present, a new mattress. The bed we had was 13 or 14-years old, it was definitely time for a new one. Here is a picture of Kenny and Heather trying out the beds at Bob's (we ended up getting a Bob-opedic bed). Kenny really liked trying out all the beds.

I'm really getting tired of everyone telling Kenny how cute he is. Everyone at Bob's told us how cute he was. Everyone at Stew Leonard's told us how cute he was (he was flirting with every women he saw). I want someone to come up ans say, "Oh, what a ugly baby you have." I need someone to knock Kenny down a peg, he's getting quite an ego.

We also got a new grill. My mom saw a really nice grill at the Homedepot that was on sale for half price. Heather and I assembled it this Sunday and we are going to break it in tonight. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great anniversary present.

Happy 65th Birthday Mom! Wait I think I have that wrong by a couple of years, oh well we'll round-up. My mom actually had an idea of what she wanted for her birthday this year, a bike. She already got it and it seems pretty nice. We just need to get her a helmet.

I got my mom the greatest birthday card ever. Here is roughly what the cover looked like (two prairie dogs smelling the air).

The inside of the card says, "I think I smell old people." The back of the card says, "I think we're in luck, I smell cake too." This card is so my sense of humor. I was laughing when I came out of the store. Heather thinks I'm crazy. You can anticipate getting this card in the near future if you know me.
